Have you ever wondered, “Why does everything have to come in PDF when sometimes the native format would probably work best?” Well now, with Bluebeam, we can get closer to native Microsoft Format without having to retype everything. Bluebeam can export numerous formats including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. To export to another file format within Bluebeam, simply select File  --> Export -->  select the format. A detailed example of exporting to excel can be found below. This works great for all sorts of tables and schedules including equipment, furnishing, finish, and so many more.

If you are looking for more helpful tips on Bluebeam and to get a leg up on future tips, please check out Bluebeam's Video Library. Remember using Bluebeam effectively was critical to becoming paperless.

  • Use the tool to draw a box around the area of the page that has the schedule (very close to the outer boundary of the table is preferred)
